A traditional Dutch advocaat made with the yolks of barn eggs, neutral alcohol, brandy, sugar and vanilla.
Review and Tasting

Appearance:
Opaque, pale milky yellow. Lighter in colour, considerably thinner and faster pouring than Warninks (our default brand of advocaat).
Aroma:
More boozy than eggy and without the vanilla notes of Warninks.
Taste:
Again the palate has a harsh booziness (although only 20% alc./vol.) and peppery spice with fairly subdued egg yolk flavours.
Aftertaste:
Lingering rich egg yolk and spirituous cracked black pepper spice.
Overall:
The “natural” lighter colour of this advocaat is appealing, although not as attractive in cocktails. It is considerably thinner in body, less eggy and more spirituous than other advocaats. By The Dutch are pushing the boundaries and breathing new life into traditional Dutch spirits and liqueurs and it’s good to see they're contributing to the reinvigoration of the advocaat category.
