A high-strength 57% alc./vol. version of Trevethan Cornish Gin (Navy-strength is a mere 54.5%).

Made using the same 10 botanicals as the original Trevethan expression: juniper, angelica, coriander, cassia, cardamom, orange peel, lemon peel, vanilla, elderflower and gorse flower.

Appearance:

Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Pungent piney juniper, coriander and zesty citrus.

Taste:

Piney juniper and coriander dominate with rounding nutty angelica, zesty citrus and cardamom spice. A generous palate with plenty of spirituous vigour.

Aftertaste:

Green herbal piney finish with citrus freshness and more spirituous spice.

Overall:

You'll need a splash of water or tonic to expose this gin's attractive floral notes (elderflower and gorse flower) but this high-strength gin is surprisingly mellow and classically well structured.
