Ketel One Botanical Cucumber & Mint is made by infusing Ketel One vodka with natural botanicals and then re-distilling the infusion in a copper pot still. The distillate is then infused with the natural fruit and botanical essences relevant to each varietal.
Hydro-distillation is used to extract essence from fresh cucumber, botanical species Cucumis Sativus.
The mint Mentha spicata, metha pulegium, metha piperita, sourced from Morocco, provides a herbaceous and fresh mint character. Dependent on the species, solvent extraction and ethanol are used: essential oil by distillation of mint with ethanol; and solvent obtained by extraction with ethanol from a base of mint leaves.
Contains no sugar, artificial sweeteners or flavours.
Serve long over ice with soda water.

Appearance:
Crystal clear.
Aroma:
Cucumber is much more pungent than the relatively subtle mint.
Taste:
Initially cucumber continues its dominance, but mint emerges and grows in intensity. Light white pepper spirituous spice invigorates.
Aftertaste:
Lightly spicy with long lingering cucumber and mint.
Overall:
The cucumber and mint flavour, combined with the recommended long serve over ice with soda, screams for a long hot summer's afternoon. Zero sugar and a 30% alc./vol., so relatively low calorie (apparently "40% less than a glass of wine" add it its consumer appeal.
