Blended and matured under Cuba's Vigia quality seal, a marque previously used for rums made as a gift for visiting heads of state, La Progresiva 13 is blended by a pair of women rum maestros and this is their first rum to be made available outside Cuba.

Created next door to Finca Vigía, where author Ernest Hemingway lived in Cuba, overlooking Havana and the Florida Straits, the Vigia name means "lookout" or "viewpoint".

La Progresiva 13 contains 5.5 grams of sugar per litre.
