This vermouth is enhanced with the Mediterranean citrus aromas due to steeping with aromatic herbs and the peel of several different citrus fruits for several months. This is then blended with an aged white mistela (mistelle) specific to this vermouth.

Review and Tasting

Sampled on 30/04/2020

Appearance:

Clear, pale straw yellow-golden.

Aroma:

Delicately herbal with lemon verbena, angelica and wormwood.

Taste:

Slight sweetness with subdued wormwood bitterness, attractive lemon verbena herbal notes sit with fruity notes of cooked pineapple, peach and mango.

Aftertaste:

Zesty orange and cooked pineapple with lingering, delicately bitter herbal notes.

Overall:

A delightful alternative to Italian bianco vermouth with delicate and complex herbal notes and attractive fruitiness.
