This "Original Indian" released in 2020 is a traditional style tonic water and should not be confused with The London Essence Company's earlier "Classic London" tonic water.

Ingredients:
Sparkling Water, Pure Fructose, Flavourings (Natural Citrus Flavourings, Natural Flavourings, Juniper Distillate, Quinine), Acid (Citric Acid).

Review and Tasting

Appearance:

Crystal clear with rising bubbles from carbonation.

Aroma:

Zesty lemon sherbet with faint quinine.

Taste:

Mild in quinine flavour with more pronounced citrus, perhaps more zesty pink grapefruit than lemon. Dry with very subtle sweetness. Moderate to high carbonation.

Aftertaste:

Lightly bitter dry finish with quinine more assertive than on the palate.

Overall:

More subtle in flavour than some more quinine assertive tonic waters and noticeably drier with thinner mouthfeel. Subtle lemon notes add complexity.
