Appearance:

Clear, deep golden amber.

Aroma:

Pungent. Boatyard varnish, custard, maple syrup, apple pie, freshly sawn young pine, and cinnamon spice.

Taste:

Powerful and assertive. Maple, dry spicy oak, cinnamon, and a distinctive bunt butter rye and herbal notes.

Aftertaste:

Long, dry spicy buttery finish with apple pie bitter tannins.

Overall:

This is a big expressive whisky that delivers generous rye spice and underlying characterful complexity.
