Review and Tasting

Sampled on 31/10/2020

Appearance:

Clear, golden amber.

Aroma:

Macaroon-like almond with cinnamon and nutmeg spice, creamy vanilla, tobacco leaf and toasty oak.

Taste:

Dried fruit (raisins, sultanas and dates), vanilla fudge, caramel, tobacco leaf, liquorice and cinnamon-spiced toasty oak.

Aftertaste:

Spicy walnut and toasty oak with caramel, tobacco, and vanilla.

Overall:

A minimum of seven years maturation has imparted vanilla fudge, caramel, tobacco, liquorice and cinnamon-spiced toasty oak. However, this brandy has retained its fruitiness with pleasing notes of raisin, sultana and date.
