Maker's Mark is regarded by many as being the first Kentucky Straight Bourbon to market itself as a 'premium' brand. It is also noted for its high corn content and being blended in batches of 150 casks which fill around 3,000 cases.

Appearance:
Clear, golden amber with a coppery orange tint.
Aroma:
Well matured fruitcake with honey, vanilla, overripe banana, nuts and dried topical fruit.
Taste:
Soft palate of corn on the cob served on buttered lightly burnt toast with maple syrup, vanilla, bitter chocolate, espresso and spicy oak (nutmeg).
Aftertaste:
Long, nutty, dry, vanilla oak, butterscotch, bitter chocolate and espresso.
Overall:
An approachable, satisfying and easy-drinking bourbon.
