Portobello Road Sloe & Blackcurrant Gin is based on a botanically intense version of their classic London Dry Gin infused with sloe berries from Burgundy, and blended with French blackcurrant liqueur, Italian cherry liqueur, and a touch of sugar.

The blend is rested in ex-whiskey barrels at The Distillery, on London's iconic Portobello Road.

Appearance:

Clear, burgundy red.

Aroma:

Piney sloe berry with delicate blackcurrant jam.

Taste:

Tart sloe berry softened by hints of rich cassis-like blackcurrant. Piney juniper gin notes fortify with cleansing peppery spice.

Aftertaste:

Piney and peppery sloe berry with lingering lightly spiced cassis with an almost mity freshness.

Overall:

Perfectly balanced and very quaffable, be that neat from a hip flask, on-the-rocks, or in a sloe gin cocktail. Rich but not overly sweet with layers of tart berry fruit, spice, jammy richness, and piney gin.
