Named after and inspired by the life of John Paul Jones, this 'Lowland Rum' is matured in charred American oak barrels and steeped in handpicked Scottish seaweed.

Known as the "Father of the American Navy," John Paul Jones (1747 – 1792) was born in Scotland and became the United States' first well-known naval commander. He earned his lasting reputation due to his sinking numerous British ships during the American Revolutionary War.

John Paul Jones was born on the Arbigland Estate on the shores of the Solway Firth in the southwest of Scotland, and over 270 years later, this rum was born on the same estate.
