Made with wheat neutral spirit (some specific batches may be made with barley or rye but the grain base is indicated on the bottle along with a QR code linking to more batch info), this vodka is filtered with a proprietary "Silver Horn process instead of the more usual charcoal filtration.

The "TurnUP Cap is a unique closure specially developed for Finist vodka". This is a flattened top on a synthetic stopper with seals the bottle which also has a flatted neck.

Appearance:

Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Very clean with the faint aniseed notes typical of a wheat vodka and light spirituous peppery spice.

Taste:

Superbly clean with attractive faint sweet aniseed/liquorice notes under moderate black pepper spirituous spice.

Aftertaste:

A continuation of the palate fading with sweet coal-like notes.

Overall:

Distinctly Russian in style, superbly clean and with faint aniseed/liquorice wheat character. The neck and the stopper look like they were pinched flat while still molten and this does produce an ergonomic bottle to pour from, although such a neck would perhaps be better suited to a square bottle.
