Review and Tasting

Sampled on 25/09/2021

Appearance:

Clear, pale golden amber.

Aroma:

Acacia honey, apple, dried grass, vanilla, toasted almond, and faint clove.

Taste:

Honeyed and sweet. Vanilla fudge, buttery oak, ripe peach, and orange, enriched by lightly warming clove spice.

Aftertaste:

Dry oak tannins emerge but are mellowed by more honey in the long grassy finish.

Overall:

Vanilla and honey enlivened but mild clove spice. An easy-drinking mellow malt.
