Galliano Sambuca is flavoured with rare Chinese star aniseed from South China and North Vietnam. This is paired with Mediterranean aniseed, fennel and a touch of mint. To complete the bouquet, a variety of botanical essential oils is added.

Appearance:

Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Pungent star anise and liquorice.

Taste:

Clean and well-balanced. Star anise and liquorice.

Aftertaste:

Long lingering star anise and white pepper spice.

Overall:

At 30% alc./vol., 20% less than is traditional for sambuca, Galliano's Sambuca is more subdued when compared to the fuller flavour of some other sambucas.
