As the "Double Rum" name suggests, this is a blend of two rums, one aged for 5 years and the other 16 years. After blending these are married in an ex-bourbon barrel for two years.

Appearance:

Clear, deep golden amber.

Aroma:

Dried fruit and tropical fruit with vanilla cake, toasted oak and golden syrup.

Taste:

Medium-bodied. Grilled pineapple, ripe peach, dried fruits, vanilla and flambéed banana are toned and balanced by dry oak, toasted nuts and baking spices.

Aftertaste:

Caramel, rum-soaked fruit cake, vanilla and baking spice.

Overall:

A voluptuously fruity and rich rum yet balanced with toasty oak and nuts and enlivened by a touch of baking spice.
