A compound gin flavoured and coloured by dried Cedro fruit peel - the only citrus used for the recipe. This gin is further distinguished by its use of purified sea water from the Mediterranean. Along with juniper berries, other botanicals include coriander seeds and liquorice root.

The packaging is made more distinctive by the small working compass fixed to the top of the wooden stopper, a reference to the 'compass' originating from the Latin words com, meaning "together," and passus meaning "pace or step", so compass means to journey together. Compasses help you find the right direction to travel in so for this gin, "The compass can thus symbolize that although it may take a while for you to reach your destination, you will get there no matter what."

Seatrus Gin was created by Oscar Quagliarini, a bartender since 1997, he is very experienced and, inspired by both chefs and perfumers, he works with flowers, spices and essences in the composition of his recipes. He is also behind Le Garagiste, a laboratory for creating prototypes of perfumes, liqueurs, vermouths and spirits.
