Two Shores is an apt name for a rum that is made and matured in Central America and then shipped to Ireland for a second and final aging period.

Outcast Brands sustainably source Panamanian rum that has been matured in American oak ex-Bourbon barrels for eight years and ship this to Ahascragh Distillery in Galway, on the west coast of Ireland. Here, it is further matured for a minimum of six months in casks previously used to age Irish single malt whiskey for 19 years.

Appearance:

Clear, golden amber.

Aroma:

Banana chews, pineapple, dried apricot, orange marmalade, caramel and toasty oak with cinnamon.

Taste:

Rich ripe fruit (banana and pineapple) and caramel are balanced by dry toasty oak and zesty orange marmalade. Enlivened with cinnamon and black peppery spice.

Aftertaste:

Oak-infused spiced banana chews.

Overall:

A flavour reminiscent of sweet banana chews entwined with layers of toasty and warming spice.
