Single distilled from young Vineta potatoes harvested at the beginning of July after a long dry spell. Only 2,480 bottles of Vestal Kaszebe 2010 Vodka were produced.
William Borrell, Vestal's owner, trucked 12 tons of Vineta potatoes grown in the sandy soil of a small farm in Kaszebe, Northern Poland to a distillery in Krzesk where they were cleaned, boiled, fermented and distilled to make this vodka.
Sampled on 12/09/2011
Crystal clear.
A clean nose with faint baby potato and pollen heavy blossom aromas.
The clean palate has a slightly creamy mouthfeel with faint baked potato and tropical and apple fruit flavours.
Just enough cracked black pepper spirit bite. Mineral notes emerge in the delicate, short, clean finish.
