This amaretto liqueur is made using almonds from Puglia roasted and distilled. The distillate is then aged in a bourbon cask for eight months and blended with sugar, coffee, cocoa, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
Two productions of just 900 bottles were produced.
Appearance:
Clear, deep coppery amber.
Aroma:
Toasted almond and bourbon.
Taste:
Bourbon shines and adds an attractive toasty note to this amaretto.
Overall:
A bourbon riff on a Godfather.
