Appearance:
Clear, rich blood red with burgundy red highlights.
Aroma:
Surprisingly spirituous with children's medicine-like confected stewed cherry and sweet almond aromas.
Taste:
Sweet, slightly syrupy, concentrated cherry, almond, apricot, aniseed and liquorice with citrus acidity.
Aftertaste:
Sweet, almond and cherry fading to star anise.
