Brewed by a family owned brewery which has been making beers in Antwerp since 1833, Winter Koninck is an amber ale available in a standard 300ml or 750ml ‘champagne-corked’ bottle.

Appearance:

Clear, deep copper amber with medium long lastimg head and light lacing.

Aroma:

Meaty (think bloody beef), toffee and slight dung with vegetal aromas.

Taste:

full-bodied, bloody beef, fudge and plum fruit with moderate bitter hops and a pinch of spice.

Aftertaste:

Toaty malts and herbal hop bitterness.
