A pale ale brewed in London with malted barley, a little wheat, and hopped with Amarillo, Centennial and Citra hops from the West Coast of the USA. Unfiltered and unpasteurised.
Sampled on 02/07/2016
(sample can BBE 07/Aug/16) Hazy, mid-golden amber with retentive moderately thick ivory white head and light lacing.
Tropical fruit, grapefruit and orange zest with lightly grassy hops. Underlying herbal malt.
Medium-bodied. Pine resins and grassy hops with moderate bitterness and generous zesty citrus.
Dry with lingering grassy/faintly metallic hop bitterness.
Dry and hop-forward but this zesty citrusy pale ale is far from being a hop monster.
