Review and Tasting

Sampled on 04/07/2016

Appearance:

(sample can BBE 12/Apr/17) Hazy, deep tawny brown with thick retentive cream coloured head with spotted lacing.

Aroma:

Earthy piney hops, brown bready malt and caramel.

Taste:

Toasty maltiness with pronounced pine hop bitterness and zesty grapefruit.

Aftertaste:

Lingering toasty malt and pine hop bitterness.

Overall:

The upfront bitter hops you’d expect of an American IPA but with distinctive toasty brown bready, almost Ryvita rye crispbread maltiness.
