Review and Tasting

Sampled on 21/08/2016

Appearance:

(sample bottle BB 08/Mar/17) Cloudy, deep orange amber with retentive moderately thick off-white head and moderate lacing.

Aroma:

Zesty grapefruit and orange, herbal-grassy and light pine hops with bready malt.

Taste:

Full-bodied. Zesty citrus, bitter pine resins and grassy hops somewhat overwhelm bready maltiness. Some black pepper spice.

Aftertaste:

Long pine and grassy finish.

Overall:

An American west coast style IPA with accompanying dominating hops that’s brewed in Norway for a Greek brand owner. This pale ale is tasty despite its identity issues.
