Boltmaker is a Yorkshire Bitter formally known as Best Bitter it was first brewed in the 1930s.

(sample bottle BBE Jun/17) Hazy, deep coppery amber with retentive thick off-white head and light but sticky lacing.
Malty caramel, currant rich fruit cake, candied citrus peel and fragrant piney hops.
Medium-bodied, dry and fairly bitter. Malty caramel and citrus.
Lingering bitter hop finish.
Pronounced pine bitterness (perhaps a tad overly so) with malty caramel and citrus.
