Review and Tasting

Sampled on 27/07/2016

Appearance:

Clear, mid-golden amber with thin but retentive white head depositing light lacing.

Aroma:

Soaked barley – faintly reminiscent of wet dog with faint lime.

Taste:

Medium to full-bodied. Slightly sweet freshly cut hay with faint tinned sweetcorn and some floral and grassy hops.

Aftertaste:

Freshly cut hay and lightly grassy hops.

Overall:

As gluten free lagers go this is a good example. Characterised by lightly sweet freshly cut hay with subdued grassy hops.
