Appearance:

(sample can BBE 15/Feb/17) Opaque, deep ebony with quickly fading beige head and light lacing.

Aroma:

Pungent charred toast and liquorice with molasses, vanilla and dark chocolate.Pungent charred toast and liquorice with molasses, vanilla and dark chocolate.

Taste:

Full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel. Burnt toast, liquorice, mocha coffee and a light peppery spice. Faint desiccated coconut and vanilla sweet sweetness.

Aftertaste:

Mocha coffee, burnt toast, liquorice and lingering vanilla.

Overall:

A powerful porter with intense flavours. Pleasing liquorice and vanilla.
