A liqueur based on 100% agave, añejo and reposado tequila with an average age of 18 months. Agavero is a blend tequila flavoured with Damiana essence extracted from a flower indigenous to the Jalisco region in Mexico, and allegedly an aphrodisiac.

Appearance:

Clear, golden amber.

Aroma:

Caramel and butterscotch with dark chocolate, coffee and cinnamon/black pepper spice.

Taste:

Lightly syrupy with vanilla, honeycomb toffee (Crunchie bar) and deeper, herbaceous, slightly earthy agave.

Aftertaste:

Rich honeycomb toffee, herbaceous and delicately spicy with delicate elderflower-like floral notes.

Overall:

Roasted agave (honeycomb toffee, dark chocolate, coffee and slightly earthy herbaceous notes) shine in this rich liqueur that deserves to be used more in tequila-based cocktails.
