Gordon’s sloe gin was first launched in 1908 but this incarnation, in a clear glass bottle, was introduced a little more recently in February 2004. It is made by steeping sloe berries and sugar in Gordon’s gin.

Appearance:

Clear, crimson red.

Aroma:

Raspberry jam, blackberries, almond, cloves and piney menthol.

Taste:

Sweet yet a little tart, this well balanced liqueur shows good, clean sloe fruit character with hints of figs, cloves, cinnamon, stewed fruits and sweet almond.

Aftertaste:

Blackberries with mild black pepper and clove spice.
