Review and Tasting

Sampled on 05/07/2016

Appearance:

Clear, scarlet red.

Aroma:

Jammy red berry/damson fruit with cherry, light black pepper spice, clove and faint rose petal.

Taste:

Rich jammy damson fruit with raspberry and cherry, balanced by fruit tannins, clove and light black pepper spice.

Aftertaste:

Sweet damson and blackcurrant finish with some cleansing tart acidity, tannins and black pepper.

Overall:

Rich jammy damson fruit but this liqueur is more complex and satisfying than that with other berry fruit favours and faint floral notes. Fruit tannins and light black pepper spice add balance.
