Review and Tasting

Sampled on 30/03/2018

Appearance:

Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Overripe banana, Christmassy spice and faint curry like aromas.

Taste:

A dry palate with an attractive, slightly creamy mouthfeel, assertive Christmassy spice – particularly cinnamon, nutmeg, clove and black pepper. Juniper is presented with its usual pine along with more unusual and attractive overripe banana notes. Subtle zesty lemon.

Aftertaste:

Long dry, spiced piney finish.

Overall:

As the name suggests, this gin is dry – very dry. It's also spicy – with both warming Christmassy and Indian spice. We particularly like its slight creamy mouthfeel and faint overripe banana juniper notes.
