Made with three different types of hops: Crystal, Cascade and Pilot, this gin was distilled in ‘Tamara’, Southwestern Distillery’s flame-fired copper still and was produced in collaboration with Sharp’s Brewery, hence the dark blue branding.

Less than 300 bottles were produced and released in October 2016.

Appearance:

Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Pungent piney juniper, citrusy hops, balsawood-like angelica and cracked black pepper.

Taste:

Dry and spicy with generous piney juniper enlivened with grapefruit zesty hops, bitter celery, and rounding nutty angelica.

Aftertaste:

Dry and spicy – piney juniper and bitter hops.

Overall:

Wonderfully clean and juniper forward this Cornish gin is invigorated by a trio of hops.
