Made from potatoes grown by the Jarron family on their Hatton of Ogilvy Farm in Angus Scotland. The fermented potato mash is distilled twice to produce a 96% alc./vol. distillate using a specially designed 32 plate Carter-head Mk. II distillation column with seven meter high methanol removal column

The vodka is distilled and bottled on the farm.

Appearance:

(sample batch I, year 14, field No.13 Big Haugh) Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Grassy and nutty with faint balsawood, charcoal, brown bread and light white pepper.

Taste:

Faint sweetness with an almost creamy mouthfeel. Grassy with fudge, walnut and light black pepper spice.

Aftertaste:

Nutty fudge notes linger with cleansing light peppery spice.

Overall:

Creamy mouthfeel and grassy with nutty fudge.
