Named after the Bain's Kloof Pass, a road near the distillery built by Scottish born engineer Andrew Geddes Bain and completed in 1853. The road across the Limiet Mountains links the Cape Settlement to the interior. Aged for 3 years before blending and re-casked for a further 2 years maturation.

Appearance:

Clear, golden amber.

Aroma:

Vanilla fudge, toffee apple and spice with run-and-raisin ice-cream.

Taste:

Slightly sweet vanilla cake batter and hot cinnamon spiced oak.

Aftertaste:

Long lingering vanilla fudge and spice.
