Launched in January 2014 in the U.S.A, Tincup American Whiskey was created in Denver, Colorado for Proximo Spirits by Jess Graber, the founder of Stranahan's Colorado whiskey. Tincup's mashbill is heavy on the rye with corn and malted barley and is aged in American oak barrels.

Appearance:

Clear, coppery amber.

Aroma:

Apricot vanilla, lemon juice, caramel shortcake, cookie dough and custard cream biscuits.

Taste:

Dried fruit, fresh apricot and fruit cake with underlying balancing rye spice and dry oak.

Aftertaste:

Lingering dry fruit and rye spice.
