Review and Tasting

Sampled on 03/10/2014

Appearance:

Clear, pale golden.

Aroma:

Smoky peat, smoky bacon, buttery, vanilla, heather and overripe banana. Honeycomb with water.

Taste:

Strongly peaty, cream-of-soda-vanilla, heather and dry spicy oak with dried fruit, almond, subdued fruity and floral notes. A splash of water is essential to appreciate this peated malt at its best.

Aftertaste:

Lingering smouldering peat and oak.
