Named after the company’s Chairman, Paul John single malt whiskies are distilled in Goa, India from Indian 6-row barley grown on the Himalayan foothills. Brilliance is matured in ex-bourbon barrels for 3-5 years and is bottled at cask strength.

Sampled on 19/11/2014

Appearance:

Clear, golden amber.

Aroma:

Custard cream biscuit, honeycomb, toasty malt, cinnamon and toasty coconut.

Taste:

Cinnamon and black pepper spice with well toasted bread. Water opens revealing vanilla.

Aftertaste:

Spicy notes continue through the toasty finish with a little chilli heat.
