Appearance:
Clear, coppery amber.
Aroma:
Toasty spicy oak with faint smoke, black pepper and clove.
Taste:
Dry toasty spicy oak, faintly smoky, chamois leather, buttery vanilla, black pepper and clove. Apple and pear fruity notes bring welcome sweet notes.
Aftertaste:
Long lingering toasty oak, smoke and spice.
Overall:
A rye whiskey with youthful exuberance. Dry tannic young oak with black peppery spice but rye character shines through the oak.
