Giffard has launched its 2026 West Cup cocktail competition and is inviting bartenders to compete under the theme "Sip the Moment".
Built around the idea that drinks create experiences, this year's brief challenges bartenders to present two connected cocktails: one inspired by a morning moment, the other by an evening occasion. Each serve should capture a distinct time of day while forming a cohesive narrative.
Competitors must use at least 30ml of Giffard product(s) in each cocktail, a Giffard Liqueur, Giffard Alcohol-Free, Giffard Non-Alcoholic Cocktail Base, and/or Giffard Syrup.
Entries will be judged on both technical skill and creativity.
Regional heats and national finals will reveal the bartenders who will go on to represent their countries at the international final in Angers, France.
The global champion will win an all-expenses-paid trip to a coffee terroir in South America, offering an immersive bean-to-glass experience.
