Bitter truth falernum is based on full-bodied Caribbean rum and flavoured with lime, ginger, almond, vanilla and other botanicals.

Appearance:

Clear, dark golden amber.

Aroma:

Candied lime zest, bitter mandarin orange peel, hot crossed currant bun-like.

Taste:

Slightly syrupy but barely sweet, hot ginger spice with sour lime zest, clove and cinnamon prickly heat. Much more spicy than other falernums - perhaps too spiced.

Aftertaste:

Long very sour, bitter lime zest with lasting spicy heat.
