Review and Tasting

Sampled on 14/08/2025

Appearance:

Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Herbaceous agave with delicate wisps of smoke. Faint vanilla, pastry dough and wet clay-like.

Taste:

Fabulously herbaceous with an alluring sweetness. Notes of red berry fruit, vanilla and delicate spice. Yes, there is a light smokiness, but this is not a smoky mezcal.

Aftertaste:

Very delicately spiced and herbaceous.

Overall:

Characterful yet refined. As if made by a pastry chef rather than a mezcalero.
