Rabarbaro (pronounced 'ra-barb-bar-row') means rhubarb in Italian and is a reference to the infusion of Chinese rhubarb root and other botanicals including citrus zest and cardamom which flavour this bittersweet liqueur. The brand is eponymously named after its creator, Carlo Zucca.

In cold months, Rabarbaro is wonderful served warm with a squeeze of lemon.

(Incidentally, zucca translates as pumpkin or butternut squash)

Clear, deep tawny brown with bronze highlights.

Herbaceous rhubarb, orange with smoky bacon and gentle herbal spice with faint liquorice and aniseed.

Long lingering burnt fudge, orange and barky bitterness.
