Produced from 4-13 year-old rums aged in charred first-fill ex-bourbon barrels. The rums are selected and blended before being left to further marry and mature in a single 55-gallon, heavily toasted, American oak cask. After about ten months each barrel is tasted to be deemed ready for bottling.

The coding on the bottle illustrates not only the cask from which the rum was drawn, but also the vintage of that rum.
