Brugse Zot is a golden blond ale brewed with four different kinds of malt and two aromatic varieties of hops. It is top fermented with secondary fermentation in the bottle. Refurbished in 2008 and welcoming visitors, De Halve Maan is the only family brewery still surviving in the centre of Bruges.

Appearance:

Hazy, dark sand amber coloured with medium lasting head.

Aroma:

Yeasty, sweet malt nose with herbal notes, subtle orange zest and overripe banana.

Taste:

Fruity, herbal palate with cleansing bitter hops, citrusy bite and black pepper spice.

Aftertaste:

Lightly spiced, dry hoppy, finish.
