Brewed Upstate New York, Ommegang Witte is an American interpretation on a Belgian Witbier by a brewery owned by the Belgium brewers Duvel. It is brewed with malted and unmalted wheat, barley malt, a light hops addition and spiced with sweet orange peel and coriander.

While the draught version is only available on "featured-seasonal draft rotation", bottled Ommegang Witte is available year-round.

Appearance:

Very slight haze, pale straw golden with a medium, lasting white head and negligible lacing.

Aroma:

Chalky, yeasty banana bread nose with subtle citrus zest, clove and black pepper.

Taste:

White bread, citrusy orange zest with mild clove, coriander spice and yeasty note.

Aftertaste:

French baguette crust with lemon zest and just enough cleansing spice.
