Review and Tasting

Sampled on 07/07/2012

Appearance:

Clear, glistening dark amber.

Aroma:

Subtly oaky, reminiscent of a refined calvados with apple and corn-like notes.

Taste:

Balanced with delicate creamy apple/ calvados, unsalted butter, barbequed corn and bourbon-like notes.

Aftertaste:

Slightly bitter, creamy, buttery finish, reminiscent of bread and butter pudding. Not all what we expect of mezcal but we like this easy, rewarding spirit.
