This 14 year old Lowland malt from Auchentoshan was distilled in 1998 and 314 bottles where bottled from the one cask. One of a range of five single malts released by Wemyss in July 2012, each representing a different region and each named after a dessert reminiscent of the whisky’s character.

Review and Tasting


Sampled on 23/07/2012

Appearance:

Clear, pale golden.

Aroma:

Grassy ice sugar with lemon zest and true to the name, lemon sorbet.

Taste:

Lemon curd, lemon zest with vanilla, spice and some of the grassiness found on the nose.

Aftertaste:

Long, and palate cleansing cracked black pepper and zesty lemon.
