A blend comprising of 50 different eaux-de-vie, all aged for at least 35 years in traditional 400-litre oak casks. The tree depicted on the bottle represents the first tree planted on the estate by Maurice Lesgourgues, when he bought the property in 1974.

Appearance:

Clear, deep bronze amber.

Aroma:

Plums, stewed fruit and liquorice with cigar box wood and tobacco. Honey and mocha coffee with faint note of boatyard varnish.

Taste:

Wonderfully fruity – plums, fruitcake and stewed fruit. Slight candied fruit and honeyed sweetness, zesty mandarin citrus and refined nutty and spiced oak.

Aftertaste:

Long, toasty oak, stewed fruit and gingerbread spiced finish.
