Chateau de Laubade boast vintages and aging stocks dating back to 1855. This vintage Armagnac was distilled from 50% Bacco and 50% Ugni Blanc wine made only with estate-grown grapes harvested, distilled and laid down to age in the Chateau's cellars in 1983.

Appearance

(bottled C 1626-Dec-12) Clear, deep coppery amber with faint green hue.

Aroma

Floral, almost perfumed notes with green apple and toffee apple influenced fruitcake, dried fruit, passion fruit, maple syrup and cedar wood.

Taste

Majestic and rich yet fresh and sprightly. Dry spicy leathery oak and sweet stewed fruit with tobacco leaf, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg spice.

Aftertaste

Very long. Toffee, tobacco leaf, soy sauce, liquorice and dry spiced oak.
