Mexico is well-known for its tequila, and in recent years also gun crime and shootings, so it's perhaps not surprising that someone thought to combine the two with this revolver-shaped bottle of mixto tequila. The name commemorates the Mexican revolutionary hero, Pancho Villa ('Sons of Villa').

Review and Tasting

Sampled on 31/03/2013

Appearance:

(bottle No. 5015) Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Pungent agave with wet cement and white pepper spice.

Taste:

Powerful, black pepper spice masks more subtle agave notes.

Aftertaste:

Herbaceous with lingering black pepper spice. You're probably not buying this gimmick for the perceived quality of the tequila inside, but there's much worse.
